A Sea Without ShoresMari Carmen Orizondo
This nine-part photographic work (2017) captures fragments of a shoreline littered with refuse and broken fences. The rhythmic isolation of each frame invites reflection on displacement, environmental decay, and the fragility of human traces against the relentless tide. The title evokes longing for borders erased, whether by water, exile, or memory.
