Zenú Golden Nose Ornaments

These golden ornaments (500–1200 AD), known as narigueras, were created by the Zenú culture of Colombia’s Caribbean lowlands. Shaped like delicate fan forms, they were worn through the nose by high-ranking individuals. Their refined craftsmanship symbolized status, authority, and spiritual power in ceremonial life.
