Muisca Elite Funerary Adornments
This display (1000–1600 AD) reconstructs the adornments of high-ranking Muisca individuals, whose mummified bodies were often decorated with gold crowns, nose rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Such regalia symbolized sacred power and elevated social status, reinforcing the spiritual role of Muisca chiefs and shamans in life and death.
