Side Altar of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception
This richly gilded altar (18th c.) venerates the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, depicted triumphing over original sin. The phrase Ave Maria Gratia Plena crowns the arch, while Franciscan saints flank her—St. Francis of Assisi on the left and St. Anthony of Padua on the right—affirming the order’s devotion to Marian purity and divine grace.
