Choir Loft and Ceiling Panels
This intricately carved and gilded choir loft (17th c.) overlooks the nave. Supported by a ceiling of coffered panels in the Mudejar tradition, it housed musicians and singers during mass. The visual harmony of latticework, chandeliers, and wood beams evokes the fusion of Moorish, Spanish, and Andean influences in colonial sacred art.
