Quimbaya-Style Seated Ruler and Shamanic Figure
These gold pendants (300–700 AD) belong to the Caribbean metallurgical tradition of Costa Rica, influenced by the Quimbaya style of ancient Colombia. The figure on the left likely depicts a seated ruler or elite, while the intricate pendant on the right may represent a shaman in transformation. Both objects reflect cross-cultural exchange and ceremonial symbolism.
