Diquís Gold Pectoral Symbol of Power
This crescent-shaped pectoral from the Diquís culture (700–1550) was a symbol of power and sacred identity. Worn by elite individuals, its embossed border and radiant form evoked solar or celestial imagery, reinforcing the wearer’s connection to spiritual forces and their elevated role within ancient Costa Rican society.
