Napoleon’s Office at Malmaison
This interior (early 19th c.) served as Napoleon Bonaparte’s office and meeting room during the Consulate. Framed by polished wood, celestial globes, and scholarly volumes, the space evokes the fusion of military command and intellectual ambition. Here, diplomacy, governance, and strategy were forged amid the Empire’s early foundations.
