Tapestry Room
This room preserves the grandeur of the Bourbon court, its walls hung with Gobelins tapestries weaving mythological and pastoral tales into dynastic display. Such works (17–18th cc.) embodied royal magnificence, pairing antique allegory with sumptuous weaving. The ensemble, framed by gilt furniture and chandeliers, reflects the palace as a stage of monarchical prestige.
