Diquís Settlement Ceremonial Plaza and Chief’s Houses
This model shows a ceremonial center (700–1500 AD) with raised dwellings for leaders, stone platforms, and iconic carved spheres. Such plazas hosted rituals, political gatherings, and ancestral veneration. The spatial elevation and sculptural elements emphasized hierarchy, cosmology, and the sacred role of authority in Diquís society.
