The Stone ForestMichele De Lucchi
In this striking installation entitled La Foresta di Pietra (2008), De Lucchi reimagines prehistoric architecture within a Renaissance courtyard. Stone domes, bound by tension rods, recall primitive shelters and geological formations. By placing raw matter into calculated structures, the work explores the fragility of civilization and the tension between permanence and entropy.
