Ancient Nasca Geoglyphs Study
The ancient Nasca geoglyphs (193 BC–648 AD) in Peru, linked to Paracas and Nasca traditions, feature zoomorphic and anthropomorphic designs. These include a marine bird, a figure with a large headpiece, and bird and serpent motifs on hill slopes. Serving as ceremonial sites, these geoglyphs reflect the cultural and spiritual practices of these ancient Andean societies.
