Palacio de Bellas Artes
This marble and iron palace (1904–34) combines Art Nouveau ornament with later Art Deco geometry. A deep portico, paired columns, and arched windows create a neoclassical facade facing the plaza. Inside, monumental murals by Rivera, Siqueiros, and others narrate Mexico’s revolutionary history. Iron eagles and the gilded dome signal its role as a national stage for the arts.
