Diquís Stone Barrels and Ceremonial Seat
The cylindrical stone barrels (300–700 AD) from the Diquís subregion marked public spaces and signaled shared lineage or ethnic identity. The sculpted seat (1000–1500 AD), from the Guanacaste subregion, was used by elites during public ceremonies, symbolizing status, authority, and communal hierarchy.
