AEG Mignon Index Typewriter
This Mignon index‑typewriter (1905–20) uses a pointing stylus and alphabetical index instead of a keyboard. Developed by AEG in Germany, it required typists to select each character manually. Compact and efficient, the Mignon reflects early 20th‑c. innovation in written communication and civilian literacy tools.
