这件铸造精细的双联青铜吊坠（11–12世纪），很可能曾作为较大项链或腰带的一部分佩戴，于旧里加出土。其锥形小铃既具有装饰作用，也被认为具有辟邪功能——通过声音驱赶邪恶，这是波罗的海中世纪民间传统中的普遍信仰。
