Mulberry Harbor
Off the coast of Arromanches lie the remains of the Mulberry harbor, built by the Allies after D-Day, June 1944. These artificial floating docks enabled the landing of troops, vehicles, and supplies, securing the Normandy beachhead. The silent blocks at sea stand as relics of ingenuity and sacrifice.
