Max at the Lantern of God
Max seated before the soaring façade of Metz Cathedral (13th–16th cc.). Nicknamed the Lantern of God, its vast stained glass spans 6,500 m², from Gothic artisans to Chagall. Rising high above the Moselle, the cathedral symbolizes Metz’s blend of medieval devotion, artistic innovation, and civic pride.
