Submerged Ruin
This slate ruin, normally submerged beneath Lake Guerlédan, emerges only when the dam is drained. Once part of the valley’s hamlets, it was abandoned during construction (1923–30) as hydroelectric power reshaped the landscape. Its window opening frames a vanished world, reminding visitors how modern industry transformed rural Brittany while leaving traces of memory in stone.
