Loft House from Småland
Max is by a two-story timber storehouse (17th–18th cc.) from Småland, Sweden, which exemplifies the loftbod tradition. The raised design safeguarded grain and goods from damp and pests, while the upper floor often housed guests or seasonal workers. Such structures reveal both the practicality and social symbolism of rural Swedish life, uniting function with cultural identity.
