After the Float on Lac Rose

Wrapped in towels after a saline swim, Jelena and Max rest aboard a wooden boat on Lac Rose. The lake’s signature pink hue, caused by halophilic algae and intense evaporation, contrasts with the lush palms and dunes beyond. Historically a salt-harvesting site, it also served as the final stop of the Paris–Dakar Rally.
